• Photos you upload. Images are submitted to an AI service to generate your compliment and may be temporarily stored in cloud storage. We do not use your photos to identify you or for any purpose beyond generating your compliment.
• IP address. We collect your IP address solely to enforce usage rate limits. This data is not stored persistently.
• Usage data. Cloudflare collects aggregate performance and error logs as part of normal service operation.

How We Use Your Information

• To process your photo and generate a compliment.
• To prevent abuse via rate limiting.
• To maintain service reliability and diagnose errors.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Cloudflare — Our website runs on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• OpenRouter / AI model providers — Your photo is sent to an AI language model via OpenRouter to generate a compliment. OpenRouter Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Tracking

Vainly.me itself does not set any cookies. Third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense may set cookies in accordance with their own policies.

Data Retention

Uploaded photos may be retained in cloud storage for a limited period for abuse monitoring and are then deleted. We do not retain your photos for marketing or profiling.

Children's Privacy

Vainly.me is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
